My girlfriend and I randomly found this spot on a road trip across the country. We were heading from New Orleans to Memphis. We drove through about 60+ major cities and 30+ states over the course of 3.5 months and after looking back at the trip, Gregory's Kitchen was one of our highlights believe it or not.

We experienced Southern Hospitality at its finest and what a wonderful thing that is. We're from Hawaii and we treat people with the same love. It's what we call the Aloha Spirit and boy does Gregory's Kitchen have it. I felt like I was eating with family which is refreshing! Mahalo to David and his staff!

Service aside, the catfish was great. I've had cuisine from just about every corner of the world and the whole fried catfish is where it's at. The filets were moist and had great texture. The batter was crisp and full of flavor. The kicker for us were the fins of the catfish. They're like chips!! So ono (delicious in hawaiian).

Definitely check them out. A great experience all around.

My wife and I ate at Gregory's on 8/8/09 and had some great catfish. However I only recommend it if you want to feel like you're part of the family. Dave, the owner, sat down with us for a while and made us feel right at home...his daughter was always there making sure we had enough of everything. A real down home eating experience!!

***o again Bro. Darby & Terell & all of the crew at Gregory's Kitchen. We miss you and we miss your Catfish even more. Once you have had the best in quality and taste, everything else pales in comparison. We travelled this weekend to Nacogdoches, Texas for a little getaway. We went to a restaurant that advertised the "best Catfish in the World". So we had to try it. They Lied, they Lied BIG TIME Bro. Darby. It was not the best because it was not better than yours. The fish appeared to have had a 'nut meal' coating, and lacked seasoning. Guess when we want the Best Catfish we will have to come back to Gregory's Kitchen and eat you out of House and Home. Til next time, God Blesss, Nolan & Amy Hymon. Grambling, LA

We ate at Gregory's Kitchen Saturday June 20, 2009. I love catfish as much as I love fried chicken. I have never had fried catfish fillets like these. They were thin sliced about 1 1/2" wide and went down sooooo good. They were served with awesome fries, and green beans with a little smoked meat added for flavor. The fillets were golden brown the flavor was well seasoned, but not so much that it overpowered your taste buds. I ordered some butterfly shrimp with my fish what an awesome combination. The wait staff is very customer oriented, they really check back to make sure you have everything you need. The price was equal to the level of food and service. The fish at Gregory's is much better than another establishment we visited. When we arrived, Christian music was playing over the speakers. What a pleasant surprise that was. We came from out of town and not long after we sat down we were listening to a trio of skilled fiddlers. These guys really put their heart & souls into the songs, as the majority of songs were Christian. The website and the signs out front say they are open for Sunday lunch, if so I'm going back for more at Gregory's.

I'm sorry it took so long for me to email. Our family arrived at your restaurant on Friday, Memorial Day weekend 2008. We traveled from Washington State in the Pacific Northwest to Vicksburg Mississippi on our way to my daughter’s graduation in Florida. Although we traveled from Western Washington our family’s roots are firmly rooted in the South. My daddy’s family lives in East Tennessee and South West Virginia. As a family we want to thank you for your wonderful hospitality and great food. My children ask me when we are going back… Thank you for your gracious family restaurant, incredible food, and superior service. We look forward to see you again soon...
